The Virtual Lecture Hall is a community where physician and other healthcare professional educators can try out new ideas and find a willing audience for their work. In particular, we welcome those who wish to explore research ideas and innovative ways of delivering CME. We are most interested in offering CME programs that are interactive, problem-oriented, and evidence-based.

Potential cyber-authors sending an inquiry should include:

1. A CV, including information about your faculty appointments.
2. Area(s) of expertise.
3. Particular ideas for an educational program.
4. Ideas for obtaining CME sponsorship.
5. Your contact information.

To date our research has demonstrated that problem-oriented online courses can improve physician knowledge, attitudes, and skills in such areas as cancer prevention and domestic violence. We have shown that courses developed in the US can benefit physicians in another country.
